About

Kelly has a long history in customer service.  During her 18 years as a commodity futures broker at the Chicago Board of Trade, she learned well the high value of integrity, communication and relationships. In one of the busiest pits on the trading floor, she went to battle for her clients daily, and maneuvered deftly between being a diplomat and a pit bull, depending on the situation.  Her real estate clients benefit from the problem solving and negotiating skills that she gained from her time on the exchange floor. She is thrilled to be a part of @properties and their commitment to excellence in service, marketing and technology. 

Using her degrees in English and Journalism from Marquette University and Northwestern University, Kelly is adept at creating effective marketing materials that capture attention and get results.

A Chicago resident for 28 years, living in the Loop, Ukrainian Village, Uptown, and Lakeview, she now calls East Lakeview her happy home for the past 10 years. Kelly lives there with her husband and daughter and loves the freedom of walking to every convenience as well as the lakefront.

Kelly also manages investment properties of her own in Chicago and Florida and appreciates the rewards and challenges of investing.

Kelly volunteers in the cardiac rehab unit at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Lakeview where she loves getting to know the patients. In the past she has volunteered with Selah Freedom where she taught a weekly knitting class to women coming out of prostitution. She is currently a mentor there. From 2006-2012 Kelly co-founded and ran a non-profit called Working to Help Our Youth (WHY) which gave services to the students of Harvard School of Excellence in the Auburn Gresham/Englewood area.  There she started an after-school tutoring program and a health/sex-education program in conjunction with Robert Crown Center of North Lawndale.  She is excited to be part of @properties and their commitment to charitable outreach.

Besides being an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and a Pricing Strategy Advisor, Kelly is also a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors as well as the National Association of Realtors,  all of which demand the highest standards in business conduct from their members as well as on-going education requirements for ethics and best business practices.
